FAM Makes Malawi vs Guinea-Bissau U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier Open to Fans

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has announced exciting access details for the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Malawi and Guinea-Bissau set for this Saturday at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe. The decision is aimed at attracting a big crowd and building strong support for the young Scorchers.

According to FAM, all fans will be allowed to watch the match for free in the open stands, giving supporters across the country a chance to be part of the big international showdown without any entry charge. The association says this move is meant to inspire the players and create a powerful home atmosphere.

For those who prefer premium seating, VIP tickets will cost 5,000 while corporate box tickets have been set at 10,000. FAM believes the special arrangements will give supporters different options while still keeping the match widely accessible.

With national pride at stake and a World Cup dream on the line, Saturday’s match is expected to be full of intensity, emotion, and high drama as Malawi’s young stars battle Guinea-Bissau under the lights in Lilongwe.

Maclean Mwale Set for Possible Move to FCB.

The deal has already been discussed and agreed in principle, but the transfer will only be completed when the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) officially opens the player buying and selling window. Mwale, who is 27 years old, has been one of the best goalkeeper who manage to keep Kalonga United safe with  10 games without goals from 28 games that they have and he help the team to end up on position 6 in 2025 TNM Supper League  and has played a key role for the team this season. His possible move to FCB is seen as a major step in his career. Both Kalonga United and FCB are expected to finalize the transfer once the transfer market opens.
